THE PAINTED HAUNTED MANSION
THE IDEA
For Painted by James Charles, we transformed Manchester’s Grand Pacific into an immersive Halloween experience designed to feel theatrical, unexpected and highly shareable. The aim was to create more than a decorated venue, it was to build an atmosphere that transported guests into a world of dark glamour, mystery and Halloween theatrics.
THE PROCESS
Working alongside the Painted team, we took the project from concept through to full production. We designed the visual environment and produced and installed Halloween decorations throughout the venue, sourcing and purchasing a mix of bespoke and ready-made props to bring the space to life.
We also managed the wider event production, including the photobooth, lighting, AV and staging, ensuring every element worked together as one cohesive experience. To add an extra layer of interaction and intrigue, we brought in a fortune teller to entertain guests and create a memorable live experience within the event.
From the initial creative direction to sourcing, logistics, installation and on-site delivery, we managed the production from start to finish.
THE RESULT
The result was a fully transformed Grand Pacific that felt worlds away from its usual setting. Layered with theatrical props, atmospheric lighting, immersive details and interactive entertainment, the venue became a striking Halloween backdrop for the Painted by James Charles celebration.
A high-impact event environment that brought the brand to life, encouraged guests to interact, capture and share the experience, and delivered a memorable Halloween night in the heart of Manchester.
